Can I go swimming or take a shower while wearing my BRUNA jewelry?
We always recommend taking jewelry off before showering and swimming, except in the case of 14k solid gold jewelry that has no gemstones or pearls. In particular, you should avoid contact with shower gels, soaps, shampoos, chlorine, and salt water to help your jewelry look its best for a long time.
Please pay special attention to any jewelry that includes pearls and gemstones. These pieces should never come into contact with water, otherwise they can permanently lose their natural shine.
It's alright if your 18k gold vermeil or sterling silver jewelry comes into contact with water from time to time. Just take care to rinse your piece with clean water afterward. Please note, however, that contact with water should be an exception if you want your jewelry to shine like the first day for as long as possible.
